Matching Young People with the Right Home

When a young person is referred to us, our placement team works closely with their social worker, local authority and our therapeutic staff to ensure they are matched with the most suitable home. We consider the young person’s individual needs, background and preferences to find the best possible fit. Before a young person moves in, they will have the opportunity to meet their home manager and support team, helping to facilitate a smooth transition. This process ensures that the young person feels comfortable and confident before their move, setting the foundation for a successful stay.

We recognise that the experiences young people face in their early lives significantly shape their behaviours and resilience. That’s why our homes and therapeutic approach are designed to provide stability, tailored care and continuous support. Our staff are trained to understand the impact of adverse childhood experiences on emotional and social development. We work to ensure that each individual receives the care they need to address their specific challenges, while also offering the tools and strategies they need to develop independent living skills and resilience for future challenges.
